VinylPlus®: A European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy

Since 2000, VinylPlus, the voluntary commitment to sustainable development of the European PVC industry, has been a pioneer in the Circular Economy. It has backed the European Commission’s pledging call to increase recycling of plastics by committing to recycle at least 900,000 tonnes of PVC per year into new products by 2025, a significant contribution to the overall 10 million tonnes objective set by the Commission for the plastic industry. Factsheet on the use of recyclates available

EPPA has recently published the factsheet “UPVC Window Profiles containing Recyclate. Factsheet on the use of recyclates in UPVC window profile systems“.

EPPA agrees on a Five-Year-Plan

The new work program of EPPA (European PVC Window Profile and related Building Products Association) has been agreed on for the upcoming years. The members decided on a program during the annual General Assembly. Furthermore, a new Board has been elected during the meeting in London. The European trade association represents manufacturers of PVC window profile systems and related building products.
